Automatic Personal Locator Beacon (PLB)
New type of beacon as substitute for any PLB-equipment of today.
Its more compact than any on the market, and is designed to be permanently kept in the suit.
The new PLB will trig an automatic alarm (without user interaction) when the unit is in contact with water.
The PLB can be used, for example, by oil platform crewmen when moving to and from their offshore installation by helicopter or by ship.
